Meet Rob

Rob never expected his career would lead to presenting world-class jewelry on television.

After a 20-year career as a sportscaster, an opportunity to sell sports memorabilia on a home shopping network opened the door to an entirely new chapter. Drawing on his play-by-play broadcasting background, Rob quickly developed into one of television’s most versatile and prolific auction hosts, presenting everything from real estate and fine art to coins, collectibles, and fine jewelry.

Rob joined Gems in 2018 and has especially enjoyed the opportunity to focus exclusively on jewelry and precious gemstones — learning their stories, craftsmanship, and what makes each piece meaningful to the customer.

When he’s away from the showroom, you’ll likely find Rob at the gym, on the golf course, at a concert, or curled up on the couch with his dog, Jackson.
